Excerpt:

In a flash, he jumped up from the floor and leapt at her. She yelped in surprise as he tackled her onto the bed.

“I’m just taking them off to sleep, you idiot,” she said laughing as he covered her face and neck in kisses.

“Mmmm.” He inhaled deeply, relishing her sweet scent. “You should know better than to bare your legs in front of me. You’ll never be left innocent when you do that.”

Chuckling, she looked up into his eyes ran a finger across his forehead, down his cheek then traced his lips. “You need to sleep.”

“I’ll sleep when I’m dead.” He moved downward and lifted her shirt with his teeth then kissed her belly. “I only have a lifetime to corrupt you.”

“Corrupt me?” She giggled and squirmed as he nipped her soft skin. “You make me sound like some kind of blessed virgin.”

He breathed against her belly, inhaling her scent, letting it fill his lungs and his memory. When he exhaled, it must’ve tickled her because she wriggled and tried to push him off.

“Stay still,” he ordered. When she did, he dragged his gaze up and down her body. Why was she still wearing clothes? The urge to be naked, feel her skin against his, was strong.

“God, you’re hot,” he mumbled, staring at her breasts.

Frowning, she covered them with her arms.

He tsked. “None of that.” Girls were so self-conscious of their bodies. He’d never understand it. It was their natural god-given curves, soft skin, and girly scent that men loved. Every imperfection – stretch mark, mole, wrinkle – just added to the humanness, gave women character. The guys he knew didn’t want a boring Barbie doll.

Emerson was real, and beautiful, and her tiny body felt perfect under his. He leaned down and kissed her. She wrapped her arms around his neck and held on, clasping her hands together like she never wanted to let go.

Blurb:
Late at night, on an amateur ghost hunt, Sabrina and her best friend Q are caught trespassing by the gorgeous, blonde Jude. The embers of attraction between them sizzle when they discover Jude’s kinks match their own.

Jude is a Dom on his last summer of freedom before starting the prison sentence that is med school. Q is a bad-ass bi switch who knows what she wants, and for years it’s been her cute, doe-eyed straight friend Sabrina. But the only way into Sabrina’s heart and panties may be with Jude’s fist wrapped in her hair.

Domming the bratty Q and mischievous Sabrina isn't going to be easy but Jude relishes the challenge. At the end of the summer, will they find a way to stay together when everything is tearing them apart?

*Warning: this book contains adult material including the use of multiple implements to bring bratty subs to their knees, scaffolding doubling as bondage apparatus, and a haunted house. No ghosts were harmed in the making of this book.*

BDSM elements, M/f/f,  f/f

My Review:
The Dom With A Safeword is the first book by these three authors I've read. I was really intrigued by the blurb and wanted to see how this menage worked. Sabrina and Q are great together. Even though Sabrina is sure she's straight. I loved their attitudes toward each other and Jude. The characters are very well written and have a lot of depth, dimension and emotion.

Jude is like sex in jeans. He exudes confidence but isn't real cocky about it, just matter of fact. He's taking the summer to fix up an old house before he heads off to medical school. I don't think Jude is really looking forward to school in the fall, he seems to really enjoy doing construction.

Sabrina and Q are fun loving and very mischievous. I giggled and laughed at some of the things they came up with. Who snaps their Dom's ass with a wet towel? That was so funny. Q is a little darker of a character, needing more patience and tough love. Jude rose to the challenge of taking on these two bi girls, he knows it's not going to be easy.

I really enjoyed reading about Jude, Q and Sabrina and their summer relationship and how their characters grew emotionally and overcame a lot of obstacles that could keep them apart. This book contained a lot of sexual tension and some very intense sex scenes that kept me turning the pages. If you like books with some seriousness, plus some wit and have terrific characters, then I highly recommend The Dom with a Safeword.

Blurb:
Who needs Christmas when it brings bad memories? Jude is hung up on his past but his bisexual brats Q and Sabrina are going to drag their normally good-natured Dom into the festive season even if they have to put him on the naughty list. But being in a ménage a trois isn't simple.

Family drama, unexpected consequences, and the sexy shenanigans all avalanche in with the snow to make Jude, Sabrina and Q find out exactly how deep their love goes.

**This is a standalone Christmas novella that is a sequel to the Happily Ever After story of The Dom with a Safeword.**

***Warning: this novella contains uses for cookie frosting Betty Crocker wouldn't approve of, naughty girls that get spankings instead of coal, and a scrooge Dom that has nefarious plans involving tinsel and a Christmas tree branch.

BDSM elements, M/f/f and F/f scenes.

My Review:
It's their first Christmas together and Q wants to start some family traditions. Sabrina is her happy accomplice when they go hunting for a tree. OHMYGOSH!!! I had to laugh at their antics, it was priceless. Sabrina and Q's characters just flow well with each other. They have depth and dimension and could be my next door neighbors. I felt as though I was at the tree farm with them, watching the two struggle with that tree.

I really liked Jude in book one, The Dom with a Safeword. However, I had a difficult time reading him in this book. Jude lost his father during the Christmas season and hasn't really gotten over it. So he has a hard time when his girls bring home a tree and drag out all of the decorations, making one huge mess. The situation was quite comical until Jude turned into Scrooge.

Q even tries her hand at baking, being domestic really isn't her strong point. I got a lump in my throat reading about how Q never really had a regular childhood growing up. Her brothers raised her and did they best they could. Reading about how Q was trying to do things for her family without really knowing how only reinforces the meaning of family to me. This book had me laughing one minute, crying the next and then wanting to throw it out the window.
Jude seemed to favor Q in this story more than Sabrina. Maybe that wasn't the intention of the authors when they wrote the scenes, but it stuck out on more than one occasion to me.

The Dom on the Naughty List is a story filled with emotions, hot sex, lots of surprises and a revelation or two. A very enjoyable read and highly recommended.

Reece and Scarlet have everything a loving couple could want, except a hot kinky sex life. Malachi, an experienced Dom, steps in to help them sort that out. But not only is he a terrible memory from Reece’s past, he’s a smartass and damaged goods, too.

As they all learn to trust each other, Malachi becomes more than just their kink coach. It’s a full-on brat smackdown, and no heart gets out unscathed.

Warning: Contains unrepentant brats, surprise orgasms, a Domme with training wheels, and a Dom whose tongue is registered as a weapon of mass seduction.

My review:
I usually try and read a series in order, I just couldn't wait on this one. Reece and Scarlet make a wonderful couple. They are experimenting with their sex lives and want to try BDSM, but everything they try doesn't seem to work out for them. Reece's friend Sabrina offers to help them, explaining that she knows a Dom whom might be able to coach them. Scarlet is excited by the prospect but Reece is reluctant. When the Dom turns out to be someone from Reece's past, the entire project is in jeopardy of failing.

Malachi Johansson isn't involved with anyone at the moment and agrees to help out Sabrina's friends. He doesn't know who the women are so when he finds out one of them is Reece he's shocked but willing to try and bury the past.

I'd like to meet Malachi in a dark alley sometime and have my wicked way with him. He's just so delicious. A bad boy image, lots of tattoos and a killer smile.
But don't let that tough exterior fool you. Deep down, he has feelings and is more sensitive than he lets on.

The book is full of sexual tension, ups and downs, twists and turns and is one roller coaster ride of emotions. Just when I thought I knew what was going to happen next, another curve was discovered in the storyline and I turned out to be wrong.

I really enjoyed how the characters learned to trust each other and how well they got along with each other. All the characters are well written and plenty of depth and dimension. I felt like I was part of the book and that the story was unfolding right before my eyes. The Dom with the Clever Tongue has a lot of wit and humor and made me chuckle and laugh. I can't stress strongly enough that this series is fantastic and everyone should read it.

I hope there will be plenty of books in this series because I will never get tired of them. Now, I'm off to be a good girl and read book 2.

The Dom With The Clever Tongue Blog Tour and Giveaway!

Hello and welcome to my stop on The Dom with the Clever Tongue Blog Tour!!!!  The Badass Brat series written by these three wonderfully talented authors, Sorcha Black, Leia Shaw, and Cari Silverwood have a new addition to the series, The Dom with the Clever Tongue is book four. If you haven't read any of this series, you are really missing out on some fabulous reading!! One lucky winner will be chosen to receive their pick of an ebook from one of Cari's other series. Giveaway ends at midnight on Tues, Oct 8. I talked with Cari Silverwood and this is what she had to say:

Where do you get your inspiration for your characters and stories?

I don’t have a thing with using real people for my characters and I certainly don’t use celebrities for the most part. I think Sam Elliot was used for one of my Doms and that’s about it. My people paint themselves in as I journey further into the story. So I imagine they are assembling themselves from all my subconscious memories of people. I see what is happening in the story and I have them react as seems correct for them. In a way, they write themselves.
On rare occasions, such as Klaus in Take Me, Break Me, I have used some part of real people as a basis for their appearance or whatever.
The stories themselves come from everywhere. Suggestions from others. News events. Movies. Authors I admire. Everyday events. A book that’s about to be written is like a cauldron bubbling over with a stew of a thousand, million ingredients. To do the writing all you have to do is knit a story from what’s in boiling that cauldron. Yes, it’s hot, messy, and painful at times, but so worth it.

What’s your favorite genre to read?

Fantasy. Possibly urban fantasy at the moment. And because I write so much erotic BDSM I find young adult novels are easier for me to get into. But Game of Thrones is up there too.

What’s your writing routine? Do you have a certain place/time/ritual when you do your best work?

I write in an isolated room. I’ve tried doing it with a laptop with the TV on so I can join my husband, but the noise scrambles my brain. As for time, I need at least a two hour chunk to do a good job. It takes me a while to settle into the mindset of penning a story.

Do you have a favorite character from your books? One you enjoyed writing the most or felt the most like you?

I often prefer my latest character. Although Malachi was amazing fun, I think Klaus from my Pierced hearts series is definitely my favorite bad boy at the moment.

Have you always felt like you were a writer before you even published your first book?

I’ve always wanted to write but for a long time thought it wasn’t possible. I’ve been a crazy mad reader most of my life though. Even at high school I would pedal to the library and then ride home with about six books most weeks.

What’s your favorite part about being an author?

Making the story come alive and seeing something that I’ve created from scratch become a WHOLE book. It’s freaky amazing. Also reading reviews and getting feedback from fans is something I feel can top most other experiences. It’s the ultimate validation knowing your story has played some sort of symphony in someone else’s mind – even when it seems different to what you intended. The way stories grow into something you never intended them to be is also incredibly fulfilling. People find stuff that I didn’t know was there…

What’s your least favorite part?

Not being able to figure out the perfect easy way to reach my market audience. I know there are many more people who would enjoy my books. If there was just a big hook that I could use to grab readers – ecstasy. Someone out there must have one of those?

Tell us a bit about your plans for future books.

Possibly the sequel to Rough Surrender. Or the first full-novel, Cataclysm Blues book. Or the third book in my Pierced Hearts series, “Make Me Yours, Forevermore”. I know what I’m supposed to do. But I have to choose what seems to work for me, business-wise, and soul-wise. I will write what calls to me.

Excerpt:
Early afternoon on a Sunday, the tattoo shop was closed, as expected, but a figure moved behind the slightly tinted glass. When she went up close and peered inside, she recognized Malachi behind the counter. She knocked on the window.

A moment later, he opened the door and welcomed her inside with a smile. “Can’t say I thought you were the type for a tattoo, princess, but I’d love to give you one.”

She was too in awe with the shop to answer him. Red walls with beautiful framed art hung in a line across one side. Black-and-white tile floors gave it a funky appeal. The large fish tank lining the other wall made it feel a little zen.

Pointing toward it, she asked, “Is this to keep people relaxed during the pain?”

“No. I just like fish.”

She gazed at the colorful tropical fish. “Pretty.”

“Thanks.” He grinned. “You’re not so bad yourself.”

“I was talking about the fish!”

They both chuckled then stood awkwardly for a moment. “So what kind of tattoo are you looking for?” he finally asked.

“What? No.” She took a few steps back. “No tattoos for me.”

“No? You’d look sexy with one.”

“No. I don’t do...pain very well.”

His brows shot up like he didn’t believe her. “Really?”

Gathering her courage, she straightened her shoulders and said, “I’m here to talk about Scarlet.”

Curiosity showed on his face. “Okay. Have a seat.” He walked toward one of the tattoo stations and gestured to a big leather chair – a cross between a dentist seat and a lounge chair.

She stared at it a moment before hopping on. Being this close to needles and tattoo guns and...other stuff was a little unsettling. She shuddered. “If you start polishing your gun or whatever, I’m outta here.”

He laughed then sat down in a rolling seat a few feet away. “It’s not a gun. We don’t shoot people. It’s called a tattoo machine. And I never tattoo on the first date.” He winked.

“This isn’t a date,” she snapped then shifted on the chair and leaned back. Except the back disappeared, the front popped up, and the whole chair tipped backward. She yelped as she tried to fight gravity and stay upright in the middle. With her legs thrown out to the side, straddling the seat, she finally got herself under control. The chair had reclined itself entirely and morphed into a table.

She looked at Malachi, who seemed to be biting back a smile. His gaze dipped down and he smirked. “Nice underwear.”

With a gasp, she stretched her skirt between her legs. Jerk! He probably pressed some remote control and made the whole thing happen. What underwear had she put on that morning? She squeezed her eyes shut and thought back. Purple lace. She sighed a breath of relief. Last thing she needed was Malachi Johansson seeing the granny panties she wore on period days or when she felt fat.
