Blurb:
Rachel appears to have everything-a beautiful home on Malibu
Beach, a successful career as a film director, and even an adorable
four year old son. But Rachel's world quickly implodes when her
son dies in a tragic accident and she realizes all her success and
money have left her alone and aching for the one thing she can't
seem to achieve--love.

Reeling from the loss of her son and her ex's indifference, Rachel
throws herself into work and heads to Ireland to film her next
project. Once there, she's plagued with vivid dreams and a gnawing
sense of deja vu. But Rachel's tough exterior really begins to
crumble when she spots a statue in the town square and is shocked
to realize it's the exact replica of the man who has haunted her
dreams for months--a handsome stranger for whom she feels a
deep and mysterious attraction...

Will Rachel choose love even at the expense of her own sanity?
Or is her love for the man of her dreams more real than anything
here on earth...?

"Exile is a deeply romantic psychological thriller that will take you
on a roller coaster exploration of grief, logic, and the transcendental
nature of love..."

I also had the chance to ask Muffi a few questions.

What's the strangest (neatest, coolest, etc) thing you've ever
done?   Easy. Swimming alongside a whale shard in the
freaking open ocean in Mexico. Those things were BIG!

What is the one place in the world you'd love to visit which you
haven't already been?    Okay, I'm going to be serious here...
Israel. I want to walk where Jesus walked. I mean, that's pretty
cool.

Do you listen to music when you write? If so, what type(s)
do you lean towards?   I ADORE Nirvana. Curt Cobain makes
me swoon. Grunge makes me dance around the room with my
air guitar. Muse is amazing. But I also love all the indie stuff
coming out.

Who are some of your favorite authors?   Oh wow. That's really,
really hard. I don't think there's enough white space for that. I've
read everything Anne Tyler has ever written. David Sedaris rocks.
Maya Angelou--you go girl! I'm loving all the new YA authors,
the ones you might have heard of and the newbies straight out of
college or wherever they come from and - Suzanne Collins and
Stephanie Meyes I'm giving you two a shout out - never mind the
haters - they're just jealous. And J.K. Rowling - you taught an
entire generation to read - that's a hard one to top. Seriously, I
could go on and on. I love so many. So many good authors, not
enough white space.

What was your favorite subject in high school or college?  So, I
was a philosophy major in college - wait, I think I just heard a
tree falling in the forest!

What are you currently working on, or what's on the horizon?
So glad you asked! I'm working on a paranormal romance trilogy
right now that I'm really, really excited about. It's weird, it's
snarky, and it explains why the world is the way it is...including
why all teenagers are suspicious seem entirely schitzophrenic...
and it's "loosely" based on my lovely, fierce teenage daughter.
Sorry honey, but you are fascinating.
