Southern vixen Erica DeLongpre journeys to Spain to find the horse of her dreams, never expecting to find a man capable of stirring her sexual awareness.

Damián Xérès, a renowned bullfighter is deliciously skilled on a horse—and in bed. But a woman from Damian's past rattles Erica's confidence and threatens the very essence of her trip.

With Lucia waiting for the slightest chink in her armor, Erica can't help wonder what lies ahead in those Hot Spanish Nights.

Erica DeLongpre travels to Spain to purchase a horse she's always dreamed about.
She meets Damian Xeres, renowned bullfighter and expert horseman. Erica doesn't expect her body's reaction to Damian's. She is after all engaged to be married, although she doesn't love Trey. Damian is pure male and Erica can't stop thinking about riding him. When Erica sees Damian with a woman not long after she and Damian made love, she's hurt and upset. Damian insists it's over with his ex. But Lucia has other plans, she wants Damian and her actions threaten Damian's horses and Erica's safety.

My Review:
I really enjoyed reading Hot Spanish Nights by Bianca Swan. The story was well written and the hero and heroine were very real and likeable. Damian's character is sexy and confident and he's known as a playboy. I thought Damian was all alpha male but he was also vulnerable and sweet. He's just looking for the right woman to spend the rest of his life with. Erica seemed not to know her own effect on men. She's just a nice southern girl who wants a horse perfect for her. The book had a lot of steamy, hot sex between Damian and Eric. I liked how Ms. Swan injected the horsemanship terms into the story and that some had double meanings that gave some humor and fun to the read. I wasn't expecting the book to end where it did and I turned the page back and reread it to make sure I hadn't missed anything. I said "Nooooooo, you can't end it here." Hot Spanish Nights was a great book, but I do wish there had been an epilog. Maybe we can revisit Erica and Damian in a future book, Ms. Swan??

InkSlinger Presents~ Ann Aguirre's As Long As You Love Me Release Day Launch & Giveaway!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I'm hosting Ann Aguirre's As Long As You Love Me Release Day Launch & Giveaway presented by InkSlinger PR.

Ann Aguirre's AS LONG AS YOU LOVE ME is here!!!!! This is book 2 in her 2B Trilogy, and you are going to LOVE it!

Most people dream about getting out of Sharon, Nebraska, but after three years away, Lauren Barrett is coming home. She has her reasons—missing her family, losing her college scholarship. But then there's the reason Lauren can't admit to anyone: Rob Conrad, her best friend's older brother.

Football prowess and jaw-dropping good looks made Rob a star in high school. Out in the real world, his job and his relationships are going nowhere. He's the guy who women love and leave, not the one who makes them think of forever—until Lauren comes back to town, bringing old feelings and new dreams with her.

Though she’s terrified of opening up, Lauren’s ready to take that chance. Because the only thing more important than figuring out where you truly belong is finding the person you were meant to be with.

Mom was asleep, so I checked my email. I had the usual spam, plus notes from all my former roomies, which made me happy. I missed all of them, even Max, though things were unspeakably awkward between us at the end. I opened Nadia’s first:

LB! You know I miss you like crazy, right? Courtney’s in your bed right now, and she has completely alphabetized my books. I’m pretty sure there will be a lending library program implemented the next time I get home from work. So how’s Nebraska? Did you find a job yet? Have you started applying to any schools? I have like ten more questions but you’ll get grumpy if I dump them on you all at once. Hug and kiss my family for me, okay? Write back soon or I’m sending my brother to track you down.

She didn’t mention the hot single dad she’d broken up with right before I left. Mr. Hot Ginger had dumped Nadia for her own good, which would drive her quietly crazy. I’d felt horrible about the timing, but there was little I could do about it. I hadn’t gotten to know him well before I left, but Ty seemed like a good guy. He was only a few years older than us, but already had a four-year-old. That was the crux of the conflict.

Writing back, I didn’t quite nail the tone, talking about Rob too much and inventing interesting anecdotes because there was so little going on. I could’ve mentioned Krista, but Nadia had never been as close to her, and there was some tension by the time she moved. Mostly I didn’t want Nadia to worry; things would be fine once I got a job and had less time to fret about whether I’d made the right decision.

I opened Angus’s email next:

Hey, you. Got your check. It appears not to be rubber, but I said you didn’t have to pay me back. I hate you for leaving. Come back right now. I’ll wait. This is me, waiting. It’s been at least five minutes. You’re shattering my faith in humanity, Lauren. Take responsibility for it! Not sure what you’ve heard from Nadia, but she’s such a hot mess. I can’t believe you abandoned us. All the light has left my life. All of it! Okay, enough drama. I’m working on getting over Josh. Classes suck but I will survive. (You’re singing it now, aren’t you?)

“Damn you, Angus Starr. You know me too well.” I got up on my bed with a hairbrush and sang two verses before reading on.

In all seriousness, there is a Lauren-sized hole in my life. Please don’t lose touch. Write soon. Love and hugs, Angus.

It was simpler writing back to Angus; our friendship was sweet and uncomplicated. Briefly I considered deleting Max’s email without opening it, but that seemed like an asshole move. In the end, I read it, two lines only:

I’m sorry about everything. Take care of yourself.

But he’s dying and she knows he wants to see her settled before the inevitable happens.

Despite Nate’s drinking and Sarah’s possible complicity in the earl’s plan, they agree to marry. But when accidents start to happen, the newly-weds must deal not only with the fact they are practically strangers, but they must find out who is trying to kill one or both of them. Nate’s drink problem and Sarah’s disability are only a couple of the hurdles they must face to find lasting love.

“Exciting, eh?” He pressed a kiss just below her ear and with a sigh, she moved her head to give him better access.

“Very,” she breathed out. Was this the feeling she was meant to have? The heavy weight of anticipation in her chest, the fluttering of her stomach muscles, the desire to rip his shirt from his back and press her lips to his chest?

She wanted his touch very badly. It was as if that one night had opened a bottle of the sweetest perfume and she had no desire to place the stopper back in it. He pressed her knees apart and moved between her thighs, lifting her gown. He moved closer to the seat. He tugged her to the front, and she wrapped her arms around his neck. Was he going to lift her to the bed? She could feel him pressing against her sex, and a whimper escaped her—not one of fear, but one of wanton need.

Nate wrapped his arms around her, unbuttoning her dress then tugging it off her shoulders. He started on the laces of her stays. All the time he nuzzled her neck, his day beard rasping on the soft skin, his lips soothing where the bristles had scraped. She clung to him, desperate to explore him but unsure of herself—afraid of appearing gauche and unskilled.

As the restrictive stays loosened, Sarah gulped in a large breath. The ribbon on her chemise was untied and the garment began to hang. Nate trailed his lips down her chest and over the rise before running his tongue over her taut nipple. She gasped in surprise. Had it been this good last night?

“Damn, your breasts are perfect.” He sucked and let go with a pop. He captured her nipple again with his lips.

Sarah pushed one hand down the back of his shirt, desperate to feel his flesh now. His muscles were hard, and she felt the rumble in his chest as he groaned against her other breast. That tension was back in her belly and lower, as was the need to have him touch every part of her. He unbuttoned his shirt, still licking the pert nubs.

As he helped her pull her arms free of her clothing, he pulled away and surveyed her. Then he tugged his own shirt over his head.

“Put your arms around my neck,” he growled. She did as she was told and he drew her to her feet abruptly, pushing her clothing down so that it pooled in a small pile of cotton and muslin on the floor.

To her complete astonishment, he grabbed both her thighs at once and lifted her to straddle him before stalking to the bed. She had never been manhandled in this way. Had she not been clinging to his neck she would have fallen. But there was something about the way he prowled towards the large double bed that sent desire coursing through her. She could learn to like being manhandled if he was the one doing it.

Her breasts pressed against his slightly hairy chest, and she breathed in his scent. She dropped a kiss to his shoulder, not wanting to break the closeness.

He dumped her unceremoniously on the bed, pushing her knees apart and kneeling on the floor between them. He kissed one thigh, then the other. She knew they were not light caresses, but she could only feel a whispery touch. It made her shudder. He kissed again, higher up, closer to the apex and her most intimate area.

“Nate?” He did not respond, but he smiled momentarily before kissing just below the triangle of auburn hair, on the flesh that ached for his touch. She sucked in a breath as his tongue extended and he licked the soft flesh, sending need spearing through her.

“Nathaniel!” she gasped, but he was licking through the crease, urging the tension into her body a hundred fold. She raised herself, craning her neck to witness this phenomenon. He really was licking and kissing and suckling her there. And it felt wonderful.

Em was born and brought up in the Central Belt of Scotland and still lives there. She was told as a child she had an over active imagination--as if that is a bad thing. She's traded her dreams of owning her own island, just like George in the Famous Five to hoping to meet her own Mr Darcy one day. But her imagination remains the same.

Midnight Kiss: Four New Adult Paranormal Romances
Alyssa Rose Ivy, Jennifer Snyder, Juliana Haygert, Sarra Cannon
Publication date: October 1st 2014
Genres: New Adult, Paranormal Romance

AFTER MIDNIGHT by Sarra Cannon
From the outside, Becca Goldberg looks like any normal freshman girl at Tulane, but she’s been keeping a terrible secret. She’s really Allison Moore—a young witch from Peachville hiding out from an evil coven of witches known as the Order of Shadows. She thinks she is safe until an unexpected accident occurs. Now, she only has until midnight on Halloween until her identity is discovered.

She must turn to the hottest, most elusive guy on campus for help. Will he help save her? Or will her life come crashing down around her after midnight?

Sarra Cannon writes contemporary and paranormal fiction with both teen and college age characters. Her novels often stem from her own experiences growing up in the small town of Hawkinsville, Georgia, where she learned that being popular always comes at a price and relationships are rarely as simple as they seem.

Her best selling Young Adult paranormal series, Peachville High Demons, has sold over 140,000 copies and been featured on Amazon's Top 100 eBooks for Children & Teens. The first book in the series, Beautiful Demons, will be adapted into a graphic novel by Sea Lion Books later this year, and a spin-off series will begin in 2014.

She is a devoted (obsessed) fan of Hello Kitty and has an extensive collection that decorates her desk as she writes. She currently lives in South Carolina with her amazingly supportive husband and her adorable son.

THE MIDNIGHT TEST by Juliana Haygert
Being the weakest witch of her generation, nineteen-year-old Hazel is convinced she’s supposed to live a normal, human life—except for the occasional ghost hunting. When Hazel moves to New Orleans, the most powerful witch coven in the world grants her a chance to join them, but only if she passes a dangerous test on Halloween night. Everything is going fine until mysterious Sean steps in Hazel’s way, putting her entire test at risk.

Will she be able to ace the test and keep them both alive at the same time?

While Juliana Haygert dreams of being Wonder Woman, Buffy, or a blood elf shadow priest, she settles for the less exciting--but equally gratifying--life of a wife, mother, and author. Thousands of miles away from her former home in Brazil, she now resides in Connecticut and spends her days writing about kick-ass heroines and the heroes who drive them crazy.

SEDUCTION’S KISS by Alyssa Rose Ivy
Never agree to a road trip to New Orleans with your roommate. At least not when your roommate is dragging you along while she reconnects with an ex boyfriend. Possible consequences of failing to take my advice:

1) Unknowingly going out with a vampire stripper.
2) Getting kidnapped by said vampire’s nest mates.
3) Falling head over heels for your winged hero.

Believe it or not number 3 is the worst one, especially when no one believes you that he exists.

Alyssa Rose Ivy is a bestselling New Adult and Young Adult author who loves to weave stories with romance and humor. Although raised in the New York area, she fell in love with the South after moving to New Orleans for college. After surviving law school and earning her masters in library science, she turned back to her creative side and decided to write. She lives in North Carolina with her husband and two young children, and she can usually be found with a cup of coffee in her hand.

KISS OF AWAKENING by Jennifer Snyder
With one kiss, everything will change…

When a mysterious letter arrives from her estranged mother, twenty-one year old Kenna Blake and her best friend, Bree, make a trip to New Orleans hoping for a little Halloween fun and to get away. The mystifying Crescent City has something else in store for her though.

Cryptic messages, a hot tour guide, and a new sense Kenna can’t seem to explain are just the beginning of this eye opening trip. Will Kenna accept what awakens with in her or will she crumble under its reality?

Pulsating red lights lit the darkness behind my eyelids, and I opened them to see what it was. Delvin’s aura was throbbing. Its deep, dark red acting as a strobe light in sync with the beat of my heart—or maybe that was his. Moving my hand through his hair, I noticed the ring on my finger was a bright, glowing red as well.

A low sound emanated from Delvin as the heat in my mouth cooled to a sweetness unlike anything I’d ever experienced before. The red of his aura speckled with flecks of gray, and the rhythm Delvin had set for us slowed.

While my mind seemed to gather all of this, I couldn’t process any of it because something was happening to me. My insides were burning and cooling as though I was suffering from an insane bout of hot flashes. Every trace of the tequila I had consumed evaporated from my mind and body until I was completely sober.

Delvin’s hands fell to his sides. The edges of my dress he’d held fell to my feet in a swooshing motion. He grew ridged in his stance. While his lips had long ago paused in their movement against mine, I couldn’t pull back. I couldn’t stop whatever was happening. The taste was amazing, and the rush I was getting—an incredible high I had never felt before—rocketed me higher. Alcohol couldn’t touch this feeling, nothing could.

Jennifer Snyder lives in North Carolina were she spends most of her time writing new adult and young adult fiction, reading, and struggling to stay on top of housework. She is a tea lover with an obsession for Post-it notes and smooth writing pens. Jennifer lives with her husband and two children, who endure listening to songs that spur inspiration on repeat and tolerate her love for all paranormal, teenage-targeted TV shows.
