InkSlinger Presents~ Jessie Evans' Saddles and Sin Blog Tour!

Thank you for checking out my stop on Jessie Evans' Saddles and Sin Blog Tour presented by InkSlinger PR.

Blurb:
Bright lights, big city, or small town, big love?

Robert Lawson—Bubba to his friends—is six feet, four inches of tall, dark, and handsome cowboy, with a panty-melting voice and a face made to launch a country music career. But when half of his family’s ranch hands go down with the flu, Robert cancels his high-profile auditions in Austin, and returns home to Lonesome Point to help out. Fortune and fame are all well and good, but family and friends come first.

Marisol Medina has been looking for her golden ticket since she became a music agent three years ago. A scandal with one of her clients set her back, but now she is deliciously close to launching an artist who will make her career. Robert Lawson has it all—talent, charisma, and a smile that makes the all business Marisol feel strangely fizzy inside. But Robert refuses to take his music career seriously, a flaw Marisol vows to fix by spending a few days “helping out” at the Lawson family ranch, while convincing Robert it’s time to ditch the saddle and embrace his future as a star.

But when a long weekend leads to business becoming sinfully sweet pleasure between Robert and Marisol, she must decide if a chance at love might be worth breaking all her rules.

Excerpt:
She was already turned on. She’d been turned on since the moment she met Robert’s eyes across the bar. Having him throw her over his shoulder and tote her out of the saloon like a caveman dragging his woman back to his lair was enough to make her body hum, her panties wet, and all the defenses she’d worked so hard to shore up today threaten to crumble to pieces. One of two things was going to happen—she was either going to kiss him again, or she was going to expend a ridiculous amount of willpower trying not to kiss him, and become an emotional mess in the process.

She should have leapt at the chance to two-step with the pock-marked Count Dracula look-a-like and stayed at the bar. Better yet, she should have bolted out the back door the second she spotted Robert smoldering at her from across the room. But she hadn’t, and now there was no winning in her current situation, only lesser degrees of losing.

She’d drawn a hard line in the sand about keeping things professional, but kissing Robert would be a lot less mortifying than falling to pieces in his arms the way she nearly had last night. Kissing might lead to going to bed frustrated—she refused to take things further than a kiss, no matter how much she wanted to beg him to take her against the nearest wall—but it wouldn’t lead to getting emotionally involved.

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, Jessie Evans, gave up a career as an international woman of mystery to write the sexy, contemporary Southern romances she loves to read.
She's married to the man of her dreams, and together they're raising a few adorable, mischievous children in a cottage in the jungle. She grew up in rural Arkansas, spending summers running wild, being chewed by chiggers, and now appreciates her home in a chigger-free part of the world even more.
When she's not writing, Jessie enjoys playing her dulcimer (badly), sewing the worlds ugliest quilts to give to her friends, going for bike rides with her house full of boys, and drifting in and out on the waves, feeling thankful for sun, surf, and lovely people to share them with.
