© Astine | Dreamstime Stock Photos & Stock Free Images

It's Author Wednesday time again, and I have Piper Trace, aka Naughty Hotness of the Cabal of Hotness girls. Welcome to For Whom The Books Toll and thank you for stopping by. Piper is doing an awesome giveaway, she's offering one e-book copy of EVERY book on her back list, Fueling Her Fire, Bossing the Boss, Fondled & Gobbled: Someone Had To Do It, and Fondled & Gobbled: Messier Than Ever, to a random commenter. Just answer Piper's question in the comments. Good luck.
            Here's the question:
Given my descriptions of Evie, Ford and Charley below, who would you rather spend time with? Clean time, dirty time, girl time, ménage time...whatever! You can pick more than one. ;)  Deadline to comment is midnight, Friday Oct 4.Here's our interview:
Thanks so much for having me! I really LOVE to interact with readers so these "appearances" are a treat for me!
On average, how long does it take you to write a book?
Umm, three years? That's not actually true, but my numbers have been skewed by the massive MMF ménage that has, in fact, taken me three years to write! But it's finally in edits, so there my be a light at the end of that ménage someday before it hits four years. Come When Called is the book. Check it out when you finally see it! We may split it into two books because it's so long.
Do you have any writing rituals?
No rituals, so to speak. I'm always playing around with how much outlining, plotting and character sketches I do before I write a book. I'm getting pretty thorough with the outlining and notes before I begin writing. And of course I thoroughly pin pix of hot male inspiration on Pinterest! If you want to see what I'm working on now, my Pinterest boards will give you some hints.
Oh, I guess I do have one "ritual", if you can call it that. I write in my car a lot. Even when I have an empty house to myself, I'll still drive my car somewhere, roll the windows down and write. I have lots of theories why I do this, but I'm honestly not exactly sure why my muse likes to be in the car. But one of my male heroes in Come When Called is named Ford, and it occurred to me one day that I've spent three years writing about Ford in a Chevy. :)
Do you prefer to write in silence or with music?
Silence. I think one of the reasons it takes me so long to write a book is that I really need absolute silence, and I don't get that too often with two young children and a full-time job!
What’s your biggest writing achievement? Why?
My ménage book, Come When Called--which is still not out yet. I wrote a ménage erotic romance book in third person limited POV. I had no idea how difficult this would be until it was too late, which is one of the reasons it's taken me so long to write! There's a lot going on physically in a ménage, and this book that I wrote is very heavy on the deep-thinking and emotions of those involved in the ménage as well. Those things are hard to successfully communicate when we only get to "hear" the thoughts of ONE of the participants. Oh the mental gymnastics it took for me to write that book...
What can readers expect next from you?
Come When Called! MMF, bdsm-lite, ménage, super long novel.
If you could bring one of your characters to life, which one would it be and why?
Evie! The heroine in Come When Called, because she's tough, smart, interesting and brave. I think she'd be fun to be friends with. No, I changed my mind. Ford, because he's so mysterious and dominating and sexy. No, Charley because he's so hot and fun and lights up a room with his sexual sunshine!  Okay, I can't decide.
Sexual sunshine?? Believe it or not, I think you'll totally understand that if you read Come When Called. It's a good description of Charley's particular charisma.
Other than writing, what are some of your passions in life?
I like to read horror and anything paranormal. Plus I do a lot of woodworking, repurposing, building stuff and sewing. I dig power tools.
If you could have any superpower what would you choose?
To be able to accomplish things quickly!
Now, for the fun Questions:
Coffee or Tea?
Coffee, and lots of it. Dunkin' Donuts is my favorite.

Salty or Sweet?

Chocolate or vanilla?

Shoes or barefoot?
High heels!

Favorite color?

Early bird or night owl?
NIGHT OWL. I've stayed up all night writing and then gone to work in the morning. More than once. It's not fun when you're not twenty-two anymore.

Here's a fantastic excerpt from Come When Called, enjoy!!!
“You kissed me,” Ford said simply.
“What? You mean earlier? Before…” She wasn’t sure what to call it. Before we made love? Had sex?
“Before we fucked,” he finished for her, without a hesitation given to his choice of vocabulary. “Yes, before that. You kissed me.”
“Uh, technically, I think you kissed me. I just kissed back.”
“Okay, so you kissed back.” He paused and Evie wasn’t sure there was more to the statement, but finally he asked, “Did you like kissing back?”
She pulled away to study him. Was this a trick question? She had nothing to lose by answering honestly.
“Yes, I liked kissing you very much.” Deciding to take a chance, she added, “I’d like it better if I could call you Ford.”
He looked bemused. “Why?”
“Because when I have to call you Mr. Lachance, and I kiss you, I feel like I’m kissing my boss.”
“You are kissing your boss.”
“I know, but I’m also kissing dead-sexy and charming Ford, and that’s who I really want to kiss.”
He pursed his lips, and she could see he was trying to hide his pleasure at her admission. “Ford,” he tested. “I’m not sure if it will work for me. Let me hear it.”
“Ford.” She smiled. It made her almost feel like they were friends.
“Hmm, I still can’t decide. Use it in a sentence please.”
“Okay,” she said. “Ford fucked me hard while he held me down across his desk.”
“Oh.” His eyes lit in a way that reminded her of that excited boy again. Pure and unadulterated elation. “That was a good sentence,” he breathed.
“I quite enjoyed it myself—the sentence, that is.”
“The sentence—of course,” he agreed, his face solemn. “Who would enjoy being held down and fucked?” He shrugged his shoulders.
She held up a finger. “By Ford—don’t forget that part!”
“Yes, exactly. Who would enjoy such a thing?”
She knew they were both teasing, but she felt compelled to make him understand. She wanted to find that sixteen-year-old boy in him and tell him he’s not alone and he’s not a freak. Tell him that normal, healthy, successful people have the same urges for sexual dominance as he does. And conversely, the urge to be dominated completely, like her. No matter what his father beat into him.
Taking his hand, she stroked along his long fingers while she kept her eyes down. “I would,” she said simply, her tone sincere.
He didn’t answer right away, but reached out with his other hand and raised her chin. She saw confusion in his eyes—confusion and what looked like the stirrings of hope. Funny, because that’s how she always felt around him.
“What?” he whispered.
The vulnerable look in his eyes gave her the courage to say it confidently, with no waver of embarrassment in her voice. “I enjoyed it—really, honestly loved it—Ford, when you held me down and fucked me.”
“The fucking part or the holding you down part?”
“Both. Together.”
He frowned for a heartbeat in what looked like disbelief, and then pulled her close without another hesitation and kissed her, long and deep. His lips soft, his tongue gentle, probing, almost shy. And he kept his eyes closed tightly, cupping her head in his big hands. When he finally stopped, he rested his forehead against hers, keeping his eyes screwed shut.
Finally he blinked twice, his eyes growing distant again, and thanked her for her time while helping her to her feet. His polite mask had slammed firmly back into place and the moment was gone.
She touched her lips as she left the room, knowing the last kiss had been different, and that knowledge sent butterflies of both joy and unease swirling through her belly.

Thanks for having me on your blog! This was lots of fun!

Lauren is wound as tight as a spring—stingy with her praise, her emotions and her heart. The youngest VP of sales in the firm’s history, she’s far too busy to attend the office party, which means when her sleeve is caught in the shredder, she’s trapped, vulnerable, in the deserted offices.
Her best salesman, the handsome and charismatic Rob, has a secret—he’s a dominant and hasn’t been able to find the right submissive to satisfy his insatiable needs. When he rounds the corner of the file room and finds his stuck-up and domineering boss bound and helpless in a provocative position, he can’t help his body’s natural and intense reaction.
Lauren is always in charge. She could never be a submissive. And yet Rob’s words and touch make her yearn to submit. And Rob wants nothing more than to show Lauren exactly who’s boss.

The perfect man—with the imperfect cock and oral skills. The Dom who isn’t a dom, and the man who proves it to him. The alien with dessert-flavored semen and three cocks. The older man (a kajillionaire with a penthouse in Seattle…) who has limitless ability to come all night with his naïve little virgin. A woman on a diet who craves a feast of meat and finds herself five Broadshaft Brothers who can deliver.
If you’re looking for the perfect romance with the perfect hero and heroine, this isn’t it! This is a series of spoofs, parodies, just-for-fun lighthearted take-offs. His plan was to find a mate to give him offspring, not to bear the children himself! Can a centuries-old city vampire and a honky-tonk country honey accept each other’s unusual sexual needs? The perfect dream lover is definitely too good to be true, especially when you’ve been drinking in an Irish pub. What’s a male erotic dancer actually thinking during that lap dance?

                                           Author Bio:
I’m Piper Trace, and we’re gonna have fun together. I write erotic romances of all sorts…contemporary, menage, BDSM, paranormal, M/F, M/M, F/F. There is so much sexy in this world, why not celebrate all kinds?
I wasn’t born “Piper”, but I needed an evil, naughty identity for my evil, naughty side…because I’m a mom and a corporate lawyer, and not everyone is as open-minded as we are, right? So I picked Piper Trace. Easy to spell, easy to remember… Hopefully, hard to forget. ;)
Why Piper?
I wanted the name to say “girl-next-door”, but the one who dresses with her shades open. Piper’s your best friend who tells you dirty stories, always encourages you to “go for it” and insists your skirt isnot too short unless your pussy lips are showing…and even then, it depends on the event. I know my etiquette.
How did I get started writing?
It’s always been my dream to be a writer. I took creative writing courses in college and all of my stories were about sex. On my last paper my professor commented, “Well written, and about your favorite subject, of course.” Of course! I turned 21 while taking the class and one of the other students told me, “I can see you now, sitting at a bar…” (read in slurred drunken speech) “Hey you! In the tight jeans. C’mere…let me tell you a story…” So I guess I’ve been trying to seduce people with my writing for a long time.
I was destined to write erotic romance. It’s what I love to do! I also love to create things, cook, repurpose clothing and furniture, and read (of course). And I love to make people feel energized, sexy and sexual…I hope my books and my website do that for you!
I want this website and my books to make YOU feel sexy!
I want everyone to embrace their “sexy”. I want women to be as proud of their boobs as they are their brains. Ladies, take back your sexy! Own it! You don’t have to be perfect. It’s not anyone else’s opinion that makes you sexy, it’s your opinion of yourself. YOU decide, not him (or her!). You don’t need anyone’s permission or agreement to be sexy. Just BE. You don’t have to be young or muscular or skinny or have big boobs. You can be religious, you can be conservative, you can be shy, a grandma or have five kids. And you can still be sexy. You just have to love your body and love sex. And I don’t even mean just the physical appearance of your body. I mean love all of it…love what your mouth can do, your lips, your tongue…love the amazing pleasure your breasts and skin and pussy can give you or another person. (Go ahead, say “pussy” until you’re comfortable with it. Own that word. It’s ours, ladies.) Love how wet your brain can get you when you read my books, or some of the posts on my website, or just think up hot things yourself…  That’s all it takes to own your sexy.
So read my books and my website and let’s find your sexy together and GET SOME!

Where can you find Piper:

Thanks again Piper for stopping by today!!! I hope everyone will come back next Wednesday when another Cabal of Hotness member, A.M. Griffin.

  1. Hi Piper! Congrats on finishing your ménage. I think after reading the excerpt I would pick Ford!

  2. Thanks JoAnna! Secretly, I'd pick Ford too. But don't tell Charley. ;)

  3. I'm picking Ford! I love mysterious, dominating and sexy.

  4. Ford would not be a bit surprised with these results. He knows the power he has over women.

And he uses that power...hard and often. :D

    Thanks for commenting Julianne!

  5. I liked Ford in the excerpt (and a very nice excerpt it was!), but I like fun, too, so I pick Charley.

  6. Oooh Charley will be thrilled! He might even give you a ride on his motorcycle! ...among other things.

    :) Thanks for commenting! <3

  7. Can I pick all of the above? lol

  8. After reading that awesome excerpt, I think I would pick Ford, but can a girl change her mind and pick Charley later...maybe after I read the book ;)

  9. Hi Iris and Eva--thanks for reading and commenting!!

You both bring up a good point. Why am I making you choose at all? Isn't that the joy of a ménage with romance heroes? You don't HAVE to choose! You can have them both! :)

  10. Ooh it's time to pick a winner! Guess what? I had so much fun talking with all of you that I'm not going to pick a winner.

I'm going to give ALL of you ALL my books! Sound okay with you?? :)

It would be really wonderful if you'd leave reviews on Amazon and/or Goodreads!!!!
