My home is on the beautiful island of Anglesey on the west coast of North Wales with my family. I am extremely close to all my family members and enjoy spending time with them. I am the proud mother of two grown up *children* My daughter Emma is a primary school teacher and my son Christopher is part of the family business. Anglesey has been my home since the age of eleven after moving here with my mum and dad and three sisters from Scotland.
Where it all began....

As a young child I loved to write. I always carried a notebook and pen around with me and wrote about everything. It was a dream to become a published author. However sometimes in life our dreams get pushed to one side as mine did. So, dare I say at the young age of fifty I think it is time for me to see if those dreams are everything I hoped they would be...and hey it's never too late to go and grab that dream!

I have been through many major changes in my working life ranging from a Diana nurse, running my own skin care business, helping with the family run bus company and even hairdressing but my heart as always belonged to putting words on paper and making them come to life.

Recently I managed to get in contact with my best friend from Scotland who I hadn't seen for over forty years. She lives in America and every year without fail I make the trip over to North Carolina and visit with her and her gorgeous family. This is where I have gained a lot of inspiration for many of my stories.

I am lucky that my mum and two sisters live close by and I can say that we are all best friends. I lost my dad  four years ago and if it wasn't for the story I wrote after his death where I came second in a competition I probably wouldn't have started writing with a view to publication.

I have taken my maiden name as my author’s name in memory of my dad…This is for you dad God bless you.

I am living my lifelong dream of becoming an author something which I never imagined happening. If I had to give any advice to an un-published author it would be 'Never give up the dream' because I never did..

RNP Presents-Jenna Jacob's Master of My Mind Blog Tour & Giveaway!!!

Thanks for stopping by For Whom The Books Toll. Today I'm hosting Jenna Jacob's Master of My Mind Blog Tour & Giveaway presented by Romance Novel Promotions. Jenna's here today to answer a few questions. I hope you enjoy your visit to my blog. Make sure to fill out the rafflecopter form for your chance to win!!!

Tell us your latest news?
Book three in “The Doms of Genesis” series, Master of My Mind is now on sale. This story is about Tony and Leagh. Think sadist, psychologist, and dominant. We’re talking one hell of a mental carnival ride for sweet Leagh!

When and why did you begin writing?
I wrote my first short story at the age of thirteen. Even then, I had a projector in my head flashing images that I ~had~ to put down on paper.

When did you first consider yourself a writer?
The minute “Embracing My Submission” (Book One in The Doms of Genesis Series) released.

What inspired you to write your first book?
Shayla Black. She’ll tell you all she did was kick me in the butt and tell me to get my stories out, but trust me. She did much, MUCH more than that.

Do you have a specific writing style?
I try to write so that the reader can feel, hear, smell, touch, taste everything my hero and heroine are experiencing. Sometimes that’s very difficult to do.

How did you come up with the title?
Master of My Mind was easy. Tony Delvaggio is a Dominant and Sadist, but he’s also a psychologist. We all know Dominants yearn to crawl inside the minds of their subs, but Leagh gets a double whammy with Tony.

Title: Master of My Mind
Author: Jenna Jacob
Series: Doms of Genesis #3

Blurb:
After the shocking death of my Master left me stunned the revenge his ex-wife and daughter sought was almost as devastating. Seeking refuge at Club Genesismy one safe haven. I returned to heal and get back on my own two feet.

But I soon learned that fate had other plans for Leagh Bennett.

Tony Delvaggiothe panty-melting sadist and resident shrink of Genesis took me under his wing. Both frightened by his intensity and secretly thrilled by his unwavering attention, I tried to hide my past and barricade my soul from him. But Tony coaxed my thoughts with his deep voice and seduced my body with his rough hands. Before long he pried open my heart as well. But when it became clear that someone meant to kill me, I came to a terrifying conclusion: I would have to put my complete trust and submission in the Master of my mind or die…

Thanks for stopping by today Angel.

*Waves* HELLO, everyone! Angel here; so excited to be hosted by a new blog for my newest blog tour, celebrating the release of WET FOR HER WARRIORS.

If you’re not familiar yet with the WILD Boys of Special Forces series, I hope that you will give my guys a try soon. And yes, “WILD” actually IS an acronym! It stands for “Warriors Intense in Love & Domination.” As you can surmise from that, these men are rough, rugged, and READY for the passion of a good woman. I’m fond of saying they enjoy blowing up the enemy…then going home to blow up the bedroom.

The books are all written to stand alone, so don’t worry if you “jump in” out of order—on the other hand, if you’re OCD and need to read in order, I totally get it! The books are:

#1: Saved By His Submissive
#2: Handcuffed By Her Hero
#3: Surrendering To Her Sergeant
#4: A WILDer Wonderland – Sexy Stories For The Season

And number 5 is the newest release, WET FOR HER WARRIORS.

I sincerely hope you have a great time with the books. They are a joy and honor to write, and partial profits from each book go to help our nation’s veterans. I donate to The Wounded Warrior Project, the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, and the DAV Homeless Veterans Initiative.

Series: Wild Boys #5

Blurb:
Tait Bommer’s call-sign, T-Bomb, has never described him more accurately. When he’s not pissing someone off or scaring them witless, he’s now the First Special Forces Group’s official loose cannon, responsible for a major screw-up on their most recent mission. His mess has earned him two weeks of mandated R&R on the shores of Kauai, where the ultimatum is clear: straighten his head or don’t return to active duty. But he’s such a train wreck that even his best friend, Kellan Rush, isn’t happy about having to pull babysitting duty.

When the guys find their "vacation" interrupted on by a stranger bearing nothing but a glare, a Bowie knife, and a lot of curves in a tiny bikini, they wonder if the trip hasn’t been hijacked by the island spirits—because surely they’ve found a goddess in the dark-haired beauty who not only sees their emotional scars, but opens their spirits by slowly exposing her own soul.

“Therapy” takes on magical new meaning when three illicit desires collide in nights of explosive passion…and their goddess’s sweet submission. Neither man wants to leave their island paradise, a torment that's intensified when an old adversary threatens to steal their goddess forever--and rip their friendship apart. Tait and Kellan must decide to let anger and jealousy triumph, or unite as brothers at arms for the most important mission of their lives, in the name of the greatest cause of all: saving the woman they love.

Author Bio:

Well, hello there! My name is Angel, and I’m so happy to meet you.

Like many, I’ve had a journey to get here.

I’ve loved reading all my life, and have been writing nearly that long, too. I think it started when I penned an 80-page novel about a time-traveling family for a 5th-grade school project. You could say I was hooked. In middle school, I moved to the hardcore stuff: the paragraph-at-a-time “swap-stories” with all my besties. (C’mon…don’t lie…you remember those too!) Needless to say, the stories featured lots of French kissing, mindless groping and angsty drama – but I knew I’d found a niche when I was invited to participate in several more swap-stories on campus.

Some years, various entertainment writing gigs and a half-dozen historical romances later, I discovered the world of erotica – and home. (Not to mention a great place for all that angst I never gave up.)  I love this genre – change that to love this genre – and hope my stories speak to your heart as well as your blood pressure, as well as your courage to explore new things and express your truth in beautiful new ways.

And where do I do all this? Well, if you ask my hubz, he’d likely say “on another planet,” especially if I’m in story-brewing mode! The rest of the time, I live in Southern California with him and our gorgeous child, where I’m abnormally interested in travel, coffee, wine, shoes, super heroes, fetish wear, ridiculous pop culture trends – but most of all, hearing from fellow readers and erotica lovers like you!

Remember: play safe, love completely and never, ever be ashamed to live your truth.

RNP-Ann Jacobs Fatal Affair Blog Tour & Giveaway!!!!

Hello and thanks for stopping by today. I'm hosting Ann Jacobs' Fatal Affair Blog Tour presented by Romance Novel Promotions. Between the launch party and the blog tour, Ann is giving away five (5) $20 gift cards. So make sure to fill out the rafflecopter form for your chance to win.

How difficult was it to write this book? What challenges did you encounter?

I’ve written over 100 books, and FATAL AFFAIR was the hardest of all! Lanie and JD’s story took me nearly a year to hand off to my ever-patient editor. I’d like to chalk it up to writer’s block but it was more a case of having plotted and sold a story with elements that created inherent difficulties that were tricky to work around!

Lanie’s situation was touchy in that she was a beard for a successful politician, never a real wife. What could possibly have made her agree to a marriage like this and stick with it for nearly eight years? Okay, I worked through that. Now how was I to present her gay senator husband in a way that didn’t sound homophobic? As much a victim of manipulation as she had been, he couldn’t be the unredeemable villain whom I’d cast him as in my original plotting. (I hadn’t thought at first that my phobia against politicians would come across as a bias against gays—until I started writing, re-read the draft and realized that would never do!) Enter a new, irredeemable villain in the form of the senator’s scumbag campaign manager.

Next I had to consider JD, a real Alpha Dom in a white hat. Would he really fall in lust with another man’s wife, and if he did, would he act dishonorably and enter an affair with her even if she told him her husband had invited her to get her sex wherever she wished? Hardly. So I had to rethink this, have her separated before she meets JD.

I wrote over 200,000 words to come up with a book ¼ that long! My brilliant critique partner, Joey W. Hill, read and tore apart the “finished” story I sent her. Using her suggestions for rearranging the timeline, I rewrote the book again and finally came up with FATAL AFFAIR. I hope readers will love the book as much as I do!

Lanie Winstead is sort of married to a senator who isn’t what he seems. And she’s carrying on a torrid affair with hot corporate lawyer JD Ackerman. Something’s got to give when her affair is brought to her inattentive husband’s attention.

But wait. Suddenly the senator is dead and secrets start unraveling as Lanie is accused of his murder.

JD will do anything—anything—to protect his lover, even if it means revealing a tangle of lies and deceptions that will tear them all asunder.

Inside Scoop: Contains a graphic gay BDSM scene, not for the faint of heart.

Ellora's Cave

Cats, orchids and kids, not necessarily in that order–these are things I like other than writing about lusty Alpha heroes and happy endings.

I started writing back in the early ’90s after I’d retired from my first career as a CPA/hospital financial manager. For a while my life revolved around my family, but by the time the  kids had all started school, I found time to fantasize and to start putting the conversations my characters kept whispering in my ear down in writing. (It helped, obviously, to have discovered by that time that the personal computer did wonders toward mitigating my incompetent, error-riddled typing skills.) By the millennium I had sold five books and an erotic novella before I hit a snag.

You see, my muse screamed at me to write hotter, forget the euphemisms and pry open the bedroom doors. My characters wanted to get uninhibited <gulp> outside where they might be spied upon. Come to think of it, I didn’t even slam the bedroom doors closed in any of the five Berkley and Kensington releases although I did tone down the realism as far as language went, and I refrained from letting my hero and heroine have sex in semi-public places. I wanted to write Romantica (TM), though I didn’t even know what it was at the time. New York wasn’t ready for the ways my characters wanted to misbehave.

Then, in 2002, along came Ellora’s Cave. I was in heaven! Eleven years and eighty-seven books later, I’m writing what I love: erotic romance, a perfect combination of sex, sensuality, deep emotional involvement and lifelong commitment—the elusive fantasy women often dream about but seldom achieve.

Over the years I’ve earned my share of kudos including the Passionate Plume, the Desert Rose and More Than Magic awards. I’ve  been a nominee multiple times for Romantic Times’ Lifetime Achievement Award for excellence in erotic romance and had books nominated by RT reviewers for best erotic romance in several sub-categories.

The acclaim is good, but what I really love are my readers who keep me in business, my friends and fellow erotic romance authors who have opened new, more daring worlds for me to write about–and my very supportive family who has willingly cooked or eaten carryout for weeks on end, so I can pursue my dream.

My hobbies are growing orchids–not as a business but because seeing the beautiful blooms emerge makes me happy–and my family, an all-encompassing term that embraces not only the DH, kids and grandbabies but also our two spoiled, furry kitties who rule the roost.

On the left is LoverDog, 20 pounds of sweetness. Mr. Blue, on the right, weighs in at about 8 1/2 pounds and is my bedwarmer.

Keep up with my new and upcoming releases and find out where I’ll be at conferences and other events by “liking”my author page on Facebook and following me on Twitter.

Author Bio
With over thirty published books, Ann is Queen of the Castle to her wonderful husband and three sons in the mountains of West Virginia. In her past lives she's been an Import Broker, a Communications Specialist, a US Navy Civilian Contractor, a Bartender/Waitress, and an actor at the Michigan Renaissance Festival. She also spent a summer touring with the Grateful Dead-though she will deny to her children that it ever happened.

From a young age she's been fascinated by myths and fairytales, and the romance that   often  was the center of the story. As Ann grew older and her hormones kicked in, she discovered trashy romance novels. Great at first, but she soon grew tired of the endless stories with a big wonderful emotional buildup to really short and crappy sex. Never a big fan of purple prose, throbbing spears of fleshy pleasure and wet honey pots make her giggle, she sought out books that gave the sex scenes in the story just as much detail and plot as everything else-without using cringe worthy euphemisms. This led her to the wonderful world of Erotic Romance, and she's never looked back.

Now Ann spends her days trying to tune out cartoons playing in the background to get into her 'sexy space' and has accepted that her Muse has a severe case of ADD.

Ann loves to talk with her fans, as long as they realize she's weird and that sarcasm doesn't translate well via text.

RNP-Deanndra Hall's The Celtic Fan Blog Tour & Giveaway!!!

Welcome to my stop on Deandra Hall's The Celtic Fan Blog Tour & giveaway!! Thanks for stopping by today, please fill out the rafflecopter for your chance to win and make sure to visit the participating blogs.

Tell us your latest news!
It’s The Celtic Fan! This book was a miracle in itself. It was lost for 13 years before it turned up again on Halloween night last year – not kidding. I wrote it in three days in 2000 while my daughter was in Europe, then lost it in a technological jungle of changing media drives and old computers and the like. I couldn’t believe it when I found it, and it was just as beautiful as I remembered it. And the cover was the concept that I’d had for it for the whole 13 years, except I didn’t think I’d ever see the manuscript again. The model on the front is ME!

When and why did you begin writing?
When haven’t I written? I can’t remember. I do remember that I wrote some kind of story in third grade and it lit the writing fire under me. I wrote all through junior high and high school, but the dream of being a writer got put on hold for raising a family. The whole time I was growing up, I truly believed that I was going to be a high school English teacher. The idea of being a full-time writer never occurred to me. It’s risky, and my family wasn’t much into risks.

When did you first consider yourself a writer?
When I started getting serious about my craft, I decided I’d better go back to school. The first night, the very first class (English), the very first thing we did was write. I wrote a paper, in pen, that contained a three-point introduction, expanded the three points individually, and then followed with an echoed conclusion. The instructor got up the next week and handed them back. Mine was an “A.” Then he announced, “I want you all to look at this woman. She’s easily the best writer on this campus – the best writer we’ve had around here in a long, long time.” I was shocked. I took the paper home and laminated it! He got a big kick out of that when he found out. But I knew right then that I was onto something. Then I wound up in a critique group that was made up of English professors, music instructors, and a geoscientist, and I was holding my own with them. A group like that didn’t kill me; it actually made me stronger.

What inspired you to write your first book?
I just realized that The Celtic Fan really was my first book! The character of Nikki from my Love Under Construction series had been with me for at least 12 years when I wrote the first book in that series, Laying a Foundation, and Diana from The Celtic Fan was the archetype for Nikki’s character. If you read both books, you find out that they have very similar backgrounds, and there’s a reason for that – it’s because, in reality, those two characters are the same person. I love the mountains, and when I found Steve, I loved him. The one thing I insisted on was that they be older. I wanted readers to know that people over 40 have love lives too. I made them over 50 and smokin’ hot, and it put Diana and Steve right where I wanted them. And I’ve been pounding the keys ever since.

Do you have a specific writing style?
Let’s see . . . I’m the queen of ellipses! And long dashes. And semi-colons. And sentence fragments (see how I did that? Smooth, huh?). Actually, if I had to claim a style, it would be that my work is heavily dialogue-driven. I want people to hear my characters’ voices. They deserve to be heard. It’s through the dialogue that readers understand them. And it’s a lot more interesting than paragraph after paragraph of description.

How did you come up with the title?
When I started writing this book, I couldn’t figure out what to call it. I thought about something with the word “mountains” in it, but that seemed hokey. Then I thought about the “author” aspect of the story and wondered about something using the words “writing” or “words.” But when I saw the tattoo in my mind, it all came together, Diana’s coloring, the mountains, Bill’s story. It fit perfectly, and The Celtic Fan was born. I love it! And please take a second to appreciate the artwork of the tattoo and the chapter headers and section separators. A talented local artist named Carrie did that for me. It’s beautiful and exactly what I saw in my mind.
Thanks for having me for a visit today. I hope your readers enjoy The Celtic Fan.

Who is Nick Roberts?

The Celtic Fan is a runaway bestseller. But no one's seen its elusive author. Nick Roberts doesn't do book signings, TV appearandes, or interviews. He's not on social media. No one knows him. And dozens of Internet groups have popped up, all looking for him, and some offering rewards for knowledge of him and his whereabouts.

Four old friends are planning their annual "guys roadtrip" when Russ comes up with an idea: Armed with an address stolen from the publisher's database, they'll go in search of Nick Roberts in a sleepy little North Carolina town near the Smokey Mountains. But as Russ, Michael, and Jim get distracted by other things, only one stays the course: Steve Riley, a journalist from Knoxville, is determined to find Nick Roberts.

Once on his quest, dealing with a deluge, flash flood, and an obviously incorrect address thwart Steve's chances to find Roberts. But as time and the elements have their way, Steve realizes he might be wrong about his failure. The question ceases to be finding Roberts.

It turns out the real question is, if he finds Roberts, will he tell?

Set in the foothills of the beautiful Smokey Mountains, Steve's story is interwoven with Roberts' original tragic tale of Bill and Claire, two young people in love in post-World War II America. It's a story of love, loss, and one man's tale of a story he never thought he'd tell.
