Attie wearing nothing but a towel was dangerous to Noah’s peace of mind, but Attie in a man’s dress shirt was lethal. “Let’s make this look good,” she whispered, and kissed him just as the lights went out. Noah barely gave Santiago any thought as he crushed Attie to his chest and took control of the kiss. He clamped an arm around her waist and laid her more fully on top of him.

Attie stiffened and pulled away. She was still for a moment and he could hear her breathing heavily, then she rolled onto her own side of the bed.

“Shows over,” she said, her voice low and strained.

“Attie—”

“No. Please. Let’s just go to sleep. I need…sleep.”

She sounded upset, so he let it drop.

He unlocked the doors and they slid in.  It was cold inside, but he started the engine to let warm air filter in.  The familiar smell of Luke—and even the old cigarette smoke smell—comforted her and she breathed it in greedily.

“Stay with me again tonight,” he requested quietly, his hands resting on the steering wheel, letting the windows defrost.

Her head snapped to him.  Deep down, she wanted to.  So very much.  But…Luke Branford was worming his way into her heart, slowly but steadily.  She feared he’d make a permanent home if she kept him too close.

She stared at him, feeling warmth seep back into her flesh.  The windows were almost completely defrosted, so he’d either take her home and say goodbye for the night or they’d go back to Luke’s.  The thought of going back to her apartment left her cold.  She wanted to smell sage and cedar wood when she drifted off to sleep tonight.

“Thank you for your help,” he said. His voice was rusty, but clear enough.

Against his will, his lips twitched. She always could make him smile when he least wanted to.
She leaned forward, a mischievous twinkle in her eyes. “Let’s try something else. I know it’s dangerous—I mean, your head might explode or something—but I say we risk it. Give me a compliment.”

“Fishing?” he drawled.

She tsked. “That wasn’t a compliment. You’re supposed to say something nice. About me.”

He didn’t answer. Mostly because he was thinking of all the things he wanted to say. That her skin looked soft and her eyes were a changeable hazel that always kept him guessing. That her tits were round and full, just begging to be nipped. That she was small compared to his 6'3" frame, but she had legs long enough to wrap around his waist as he buried himself inside her. The thunderous sound had barely died out when Spencer edged close, his size and heat intimidating Eve, but also stirring something within her. A desire for a firm hand, a strict taskmaster. 

Carefully, Spencer brushed Eve’s hair aside, his fingertips lingering on her shoulder. His touch light. Pleasant. Her breathing picked up. She waited for more. He leaned down, his cheek close to hers, his powerful body clearly restrained, his scent one of soap, wool, leather. 

“Do as I ordered,” he whispered. “Be quick about it.”
