Fated to survive…
FBI agent David Harris’s life nearly came to an end during a botched raid. Though he survived, his body and spirit were broken by the perilous underworld he believes his estranged partner, Diana Reyes, has embraced with her Vampire husband. Now, left to a life in a wheelchair, David is angry, distrustful, and withdrawn…
Meant to love…
Seeing her former lover, David, again rekindles feelings long forgotten for Maggie Gonzalez. But she’s been thrown into a terrifying future as a werewolf, threatening to destroy what they might have again.
Destined to die…
Diana Reyes has lived on the edge since her blood contamination by Vampire Ryder Latimer. Her unexpected pregnancy is putting a huge strain on her body, but she’ll do anything to help right the wrongs of the past and help her former partner find happiness…even if it’s in the arms of a werewolf.

Excerpt #1
Diana woke to a chill in her body and the bite of the early winter air along the parts of her skin not covered by the comforter. She actually welcomed the cold against the heat of her flesh. In the last month, the pregnancy had turned her into a blast furnace, bringing waves of warmth through her body. She had even stripped off the rest of her clothes during the middle of the night in an effort to cool off.
Ryder wrapped his arms around her and spooned against her back, the hard ridge of his morning erection nestled along her bottom.
She smiled and wiggled her hips, inviting him to play and fulfill the promise he had made last night.
He nuzzled the side of her face, dropping a kiss there. “Good morning, darlin’. Are you feeling up to a little morning lovin’?”
She slipped her hand between their bodies and stroked the length of him. “Doesn’t feel little to me.”
He chuckled and drifted his hand down to her center. With sure movements, he slipped it between her thighs to caress her there, rubbing and pressing until she parted her legs to give him greater access.
“Mmm. That feels good,” she said, eyes still closed as she lingered in that dream-like zone between sleep and wakefulness. But it was impossible to stay there when he eased his fingers into her and brought his other hand around to caress her breasts.
A rough cry of need ripped from her. He kissed the sensitive spot behind her ear and whispered, “Easy, darlin’. I won’t leave you wanting.”
No, he wouldn’t. He never left her wanting, physically or emotionally. Sometimes it was hard to handle…when she wasn’t as accommodating of his wishes.
But those thoughts flew out of her mind as he slid into her from behind. The friction and pressure of his cock filling her dragged a moan of pleasure from her. As he moved within her, played with her nipples, each little touch stoking the heat inside her, she allowed herself just to feel and enjoy all that he was to her.
All that they shared together.
The pleasure built between them. Stronger. More demanding. Until the first spark of their release flamed bright and the fire grew ever higher and rougher. They moved together, seeking the peak. Then the conflagration swept over them, its heat searing through them.
Ryder’s harsh breath bathed the side of her face as with one final push he came, and wrapped his arms tight around her. He said her name with such need, it melted the edges of her heart.
“I’m here, Ryder. I’ll always be here for you,” she returned, stroking her hands across the quivering muscles of his arms as they held her. She shifted her hips one last time then surrendered to her release and his embrace.
Can you tell us a little
about yourself?
I’m a Jersey Girl who loves to travel, cook and
read. I’d love to have more time to write and spend with family
and friends.
Please share 5 fun facts
about yourself that most people don't know?
I’m afraid of heights.
I’m not too fond of the
dark either.
I love chocolate.
I’d love to visit every
major league ball park in the U.S.
My favorite genre to read
is contemporary romance.
What was your ideal career
when you were a child?
I always dreamed of being
a writer.
What’s your favorite
music?
Alternative rock and
Gloria Estefan.
Tell us about a typical
writing day for you.
I usually write on the
train to and from work and for several hours on Saturday and Sunday
mornings.
On average, how long does
it take you to write a book?
It depends on the length
of the book. For shorter, category books, usually 2 to 3 months.
For a longer book, 4 to 6 months.
How long does it take to
write sex scenes?
Well . . .that’s a tough
one. It’s really more about finding the right place for one in the
book and also finding the right tone for the characters involved.
For me, it’s usually spontaneous because I think romance should be
that way – spontaneous.
Where do you find writing
inspiration?
I get inspiration from the
news and from things I see all around me.
Do you prefer to write in
silence or with music?
I usually write with the
television on, but my favorite time to write is in the summer while
I’m on my balcony and it’s quiet and peaceful.
Where’s your favorite
place to write?
LOL – see my earlier
response about my balcony.
What’s the best way to
get over writer’s block?
For me the best way is to
take a long walk and try to work out any problems that I’m having
with the plot.
What’s your biggest
writing achievement? Why?
I think being nominated
for a RITA in 2012 was one of my biggest writing accomplishments.
Can you tell us about your
current book, BORN TO LOVE.
Born to Love is the next
book in THE CALLING/REBORN vampire series. It’s got the continuing
story of FBI Agent Diana Reyes and vampire Ryder Latimer and how they
are dealing with both love and death in their lives. It’s also a
story about Diana’s FBI pals, Maggie and David, and their romance
as well as a serial killer shifter. It’s full of romance and
excitement and I can’t wait to hear what you think about it.
What made you write ‘this’
story?
I just had to build on the mythology of the series and
introducing the shifter world was one way to bring in new characters
and story lines. I also have been waiting a very long time to share
Maggie and David’s story with everyone! They’ve deserved it for
quite some time.
What can readers expect
next from you?
DIE FOR LOVE is coming in December. It’s the story
of Michaela, a dhampir, and her quest to get vengeance for her
mother’s murder and rape. It’s also the finale to the three
story arc of Diana and Ryder’s story.
What’s the hardest thing
about writing and how do you handle it?
The hardest thing about
writing is finding the time to write and being true to the story you
want to write.
If you could bring one of
your characters to life, which one would it be and why?
Definitely
Ryder Latimer. I’d love it if he were really alive.
How important is reader
feedback, good or bad, to you?
I love hearing from readers about
what they liked and didn’t about the books. I always listen and
see what I info I can get in order to improve what I’m doing in the
books.
What’s the best advice
you can give to an inspiring author?
Never give up. It’s a tough
industry, but there are a great many more opportunities today.
