Xpresso Presents-Cambria Hebert's Tattoo Book Blitz!!

Thanks for stopping by For Whom The Books Toll today. I'm hosting Cambria Herbert's Tattoo Book Blitz presented by Xpresso Book Tours. Cambria is having a release party on Facebook Sunday evening on the 16th. Here is the link to the event for anyone who wants to join:
Cambria is here to talk about 5 things you should never say to a writer.

5 things you should never say to a writer

1. Who is your publisher?
Explanation: Does it really matter? If the book is good who cares? Good books can come from Indies, big publishers, small publishers.

2. I wish I could work from home. That would be so easy.
Explanation: In reality working from home presents its own challenges. I know that for me, I have a hard time sitting down and writing when the floor needs vacuumed, the dishes need done and the dogs are standing at the door to go outside (and then when they do they stand there and bark). Not to mention most of us have kids that always want something or never be quiet. And if the kids are in school you have to balance writing and marketing with volunteering at school, transporting them to and from, etc.

3. What’s your real job?
Explanation: Writing is a real job.

4. Will you write me into your book?
Explanation: If I did I would have to kill you. In the book! What were you thinking?

5. I don’t like to read.
Explanation: The minute those words come out of someone’s mouth I usually stop listening to you all together…. LA LA LA LA I can’t hear you!

So spill, have you ever said any of these things to a writer? What do you think would be something you should never say to a writer?

Thank you for having me here today!

I will confess to asking an author about their publisher(s). I didn't know the subject was taboo. As for the others, I've never considered writing as not a job. I've asked if you weren't a writer, what do you think your career would be?. I love to read!!!

A tattoo gets them in trouble… He will get them out.

After years of cultivating an undercover identity, Brody West is finally off the case and free to live a life of his own. All that time spent in the company of criminals and killers left him a little jaded… and with an identity crisis. He isn’t sure who he is anymore, or who he wants to be.

To give him time to think, he takes a few days off to go fishing. On his way out of town, he makes a routine stop at the bank and finds himself flirting with the girl behind the counter.

But his flirtation is cut short when criminals burst into the bank and shoot her right before his eyes.

In attempt to administer first aid, Brody reveals a tattoo on his upper arm. A mark that will drag him and the girl into the kind of situation he was trying to get away from. But he can’t walk away because he’s the only thing capable of keeping Taylor alive and bringing down the guys who shot her—guys who are seriously dangerous.
